Montage Magazine is a MassArt alumni magazine. It engages alumni by showcasing what other alumni are currently doing and honoring what they have done in the past. Montage Magazine uses montage, which is a collage or collection of things, as a lens through which to tell a story and bring unique and different perspectives.
The first feature interviews MassArt’s MFA grads about their experience at mass art and their artwork.
The second feature is an interview with Boston-based artist, activist and muralist Silvia Lopez Chavez.
Department article called “The Pioneers” features Muriel Cooper, a greatly influential designer and educator, who was also the first ever Design director of the MIT press.
Montage Magazine also has a website version, shown in tablet format below.
